2016/17 contest will be announced on July 9th
21st Century Creative Empowerment Arts Contest

The poem I wrote was inspired by the things that affected my life and the lives of my peers. The poem conveys a message to the youth ...how they will stand up to be heard in the 21st century - where the social media is one of the major influences in our lives and how our choices can either make us or break us. It also speaks to the youth to stand together and speak out for what is right.
